With the passing of the 2024 override renewal, and a vote of approval by the Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) Governing Board, Queen Creek Unified School District teachers and staff will receive a three percent salary increase for the 2025–2026 school year. This raise is a testament to the district’s commitment to investing in its employees and ensuring continued excellence in education.

“We are incredibly grateful to our community for their unwavering support in passing the override renewal,” said QCUSD Superintendent Dr. Perry Berry. “Your dedication to our schools allows us to continue employing and supporting exceptional staff who make a lasting impact on our students.”

The approved raise will be applied to the 2025–2026 contract and will be based on the 2024–2025 base salary outlined in current contracts. Employees must have held a contract in place before February 4, 2025, to be eligible for the increase.

QCUSD remains committed to supporting its employees by prioritizing competitive compensation and ensuring the district remains a top choice in the East Valley. Over the past decade, the district has consistently provided salary increases to retain and attract qualified teachers and staff.

Dr. Berry emphasized the district’s ongoing commitment to its educators and staff, stating, “Over the past ten years, QCUSD has prioritized investing in our employees by consistently providing raises that reflect their value to our district. Your dedication plays a vital role in our continued success.”

The QCUSD community’s support in passing the override renewal ensures that the district can continue to create a positive learning environment by retaining top educators and staff. “Thank you for choosing to be an integral part of the QCUSD team,” Dr. Berry said. “Together, we are shaping the future of our students and community.”
