Enrollment Information

*You can begin the enrollment process through the online enrollment portal, only if you are brand new to the Queen Creek Unified School District and not currently enrolled in a brick and mortar QCUSD school. 

When you enroll your child in Queen Creek Unified schools, you’re not only giving them a high-quality and rigorous education, you’re giving them leadership and lifelong lessons that prepare them for the future. Start the enrollment process online or complete your enrollment by following the process below. Forms must be submitted before the start of the school year.

When using our online enrollment portal, please make sure you select the 21–22 school year. You can find the school year that you are enrolling for in the upper right-hand corner.

Families new to QCUSD who live within our boundaries can complete the enrollment process online. To enroll you need the following documents:

  • Original birth certificate
  • Proof of immunizations
  • Proof of residency (utility bill)
  • Records from previous school (if transferring)
  • Parent photo ID
  • For junior high and high school students, please fill out a course selection form for the school you are enrolling in and turn it in with the required documents. You can find forms on this page (to the right of the page on desktop, at the bottom on mobile.

During the online enrollment process, you will be able to submit the required documents electronically. 

If you are unable to use the online portal to enroll your child, you can download an enrollment packet below and return it to your child's school with the appropriate documents.

Pre-K enrollment will open mid-January.

If you are already a QCUSD family and need to enroll an additional student, please do so through ParentVue.

If you are outside QCUSD boundaries or want to go to a school that is not your QCUSD home school, please fill out an open enrollment form and turn into the school you are applying for. You will need to wait for approval before filling out the enrollment packet. Just fill out our open enrollment form!

Kindergarten Enrollment

QCUSD offers free all-day kindergarten at all of our elementary schools. January 4 is when you can begin enrolling your child in kindergarten for the 21–22 school year. A child is eligible for admission to kindergarten if the child is five years of age by August 31 of the school year you are enrolling them in. 

To help with your planning for next year, QCUSD will be hosting two kindergarten round-up events at our elementary school sites. The dates of kindergarten round-up are February 9 and May 5.

Preschool Enrollment

We are pleased to offer students within QCUSD the opportunity to participate in preschool and pre-kindergarten. We have a variety of programs designed to suit your child's specific needs. Please visit our Preschool page for more information on programs and enrollment.

Queen Creek Virtual Academy

The Queen Creek Virtual Academy (QCVA), which is a QCUSD school, is a comprehensive online learning solution for students in grades K–12.

If you are brand new to the Queen Creek Unified School District and not currently enrolled in a brick and mortar QCUSD school, you can begin the enrollment process through the online enrollment portal.

Immunization Information

Current state law mandates that all children entering school receive vaccinations against the following diseases:

  • Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis
  • Polio
  • Measles, Mumps, and Rubella (MMR)
  • Hepatitis B
  • Varicella
  • Hepatitis A

Immunization Exception

State law does allow exemptions from immunizations on an individual basis for reasons of conscience or medical or religious reasons. You must complete an ADHS exemption form to have your child exempted from immunizations. Please be aware that we will not allow students who are not current on their vaccinations to be in school if there is an outbreak of disease.
