Enrollment Information

Return to School SY20–21

Dear QCUSD Parents/Guardians,

On June 29, Governor Doug Ducey issued an executive order delaying the opening of school buildings until August 17, 2020. The order impacts the opening of all schools in the Queen Creek Unified School District. In light of this announcement, our schools will not physically open on July 22, 2020. However, we are working to determine if we can still begin the school year (via distance learning) on July 22 so that students can continue their learning activities.

QCUSD anticipated additional changes and has been patient and thoughtful in its approach to ensure effective communication without multiple changes to both families and staff. As we process this latest executive order, we are working with the governing board to determine considerations for students, staff, and families. We also understand that this announcement may bring many questions, and we are working to answer those questions reliably and efficiently.

In the meantime, please continue to check the Parent FAQ, and thank you for your patience and support during this time.

Access online enrollment here

Please take a moment to learn more about our new online enrollment system that will make the enrollment process easier and more efficient for families.

We welcome new students and their families to Queen Creek Unified School District. We also offer open enrollment for families who may live outside of our school boundaries. At this time, people can't come to the school building, but you may email the packets to the registrars.

Queen Creek Virtual Academy

The Queen Creek Virtual Academy (QCVA), which is a QCUSD school, is a comprehensive online learning solution for students in grades K–12.

If you are brand new to the Queen Creek Unified School District and not currently enrolled in a brick and mortar QCUSD school, you can begin the enrollment process through ParentVue. Just create a ParentVue account and select Queen Creek Virtual Academy as the school you want to enroll in.

If you have a student(s) currently enrolled in a brick and mortar QCUSD school but wish to transfer your student(s) to the Queen Creek Virtual Academy, please contact your currently enrolled school's registrar and tell them you want to transfer to the QCVA.

Preschool enrollment

We are pleased to offer students within QCUSD the opportunity to participate in preschool and pre-kindergarten. We have a variety of programs designed to suit your child's specific needs. Please visit our Preschool page for more information.

Preschool enrollment packets are available at the top of this page. We are accepting enrollment packets electronically or at the school site for the 2020–2021 school year. Please follow the directions above.
