Transportation

676,877 miles. That's the number of miles we traveled in the 2017–2018 school year. From 5:30 a.m. when the crew fires up the buses to begin the daily routes, until the last bus rolls into the yard at 5:00 p.m., our Transportation Department is on duty. Very often, we also work evenings and weekends, transporting kids to field trips, athletics events, and special events.

We have a fleet of 87 buses that serve the nine schools in a district of 44 square miles. We provide daily transportation to all eligible students of our district, including those students with special needs and students involved in the McKinney/Vento program. Our 77 employees are among the most well trained, dedicated transportation employees in the state of Arizona.

The Transportation Department is located at 20820 South Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, Arizona, 85296. You can contact us at (480) 987.5982.

Helpful Transportation Tips

  • Have your student at his or her designated bus stop five minutes prior to the scheduled stop.
  • Have your child stay at least 10 feet away from the pick up area until the bus comes to a complete stop and the driver motions for him/her to board.
  • Please instruct your child to stay in his/her seat while the bus is in motion.
  • If you meet your child at the bus stop at the end of the day, please be on time.
