Music In Our Schools Month

Students with their musical instruments

March is Music in Our Schools Month, a time when Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) celebrates the skills and achievements of our students and music programs. Music programs within QCUSD foster creativity and inspire students to excel. Let's discover the opportunities our music programs provide for students.

Queen Creek High School:

At Queen Creek High School (QCHS), students have the opportunity to participate in a diverse range of music programs including band, orchestra, guitar, and choir. Recent accomplishments include the choir earning a "superior" rating at the ACE Choral Festival, and ten students from various music programs were selected for the Arizona Music Educators Association Central Region Honor Band and Orchestra. Both band and guitar programs delivered successful spring concerts, while the orchestra is set to perform at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center on March 6. Additionally, the Queen Creek Theater Company will be presenting Chicago (Teen Edition) as their spring musical.
