What’s Coming Up in the Remaining School Year?
We have officially entered 2024 and are halfway through this amazing school year. As our students and staff continue to excel, we are gearing up for some great events. Mark your calendars and set those reminders!
Enrollment for the 2024–2025 school year
Enrollment is now open for all Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) schools for the 2024–2025 school year. When you enroll your child in Queen Creek Unified schools, you're not only giving them a high-quality and rigorous education, you're giving them leadership and lifelong lessons that prepare them for the future. #ChooseQCUSD
Also opening in the 2024–2025 school year is Newell Barney College Prep, a “school of choice.” Seventh and eighth-grade students will now have the opportunity to fully immerse themselves in honors and accelerated coursework at Newell Barney College Preparatory School.

Please check the preschool page for information about what classes will be offered for the 2024–2025 school year. Please note that preschool enrollment will officially open on January 19.
Open House Night / Kindergarten Round-Up
Are you interested in learning more about QCUSD schools and what they have to offer? Come to the district-wide Open House event.
Join us for an engaging evening with teachers to explore the exciting learning experiences that lie ahead. Attend Meet and Greets, tour the school and classrooms, learn about the curriculum and extracurricular activities, and bring any questions you may have for our exceptional staff and teachers.
QCUSD’s all-school Open House will be on January 23 with the following times for the following locations:
- Elementary Schools - 4:00 to 5:30 p.m. (During this time, Kindergarten Round-Up will also happen from 4:30-5:30)
- Newell Barney College Prep, Queen Creek Junior High, Crismon High, and Eastmark High - 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.
- Queen Creek High - 6:00 to 7:30 p.m.

Kindergarten Round-Up
Happening during Open House Night, all QCUSD elementary schools will be hosting a special presentation on kindergarten.
The presentation will provide information on curriculum, preparation, and a chance for your child to meet their future teacher.
Kindergarten Round-Up will be held during the Open House event on January 23 from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Graduation
For all families with seniors graduating this school year, be sure you have ordered their cap and gown for the big graduation day. For graduation ceremony dates and locations, please refer to the following information:
- Eastmark High’s Graduation Ceremony will be held at EHS’s football field on May 22, 2024, at 7:00 p.m.
- Queen Creek High’s Graduation Ceremony will be held at ASU’s Desert Financial Stadium on May 23, 2024, at 2:30 p.m.
- Queen Creek Virtual Academy’s Graduation Ceremony will be held at Newell Barney College Prep on May 22, 2024, at 3:00 p.m.
