Overview

Students in the Queen Creek Unified School District experience science through rich hands-on experiences and project-based learning. We highlight STEM instruction at each site, integrating math, engineering, and technology. Effective science writing naturally supports language arts, using critical thinking to build claims that both reasoning and evidence support. 

We enrich science content in our schools with science nights, field trips, guest presenters, field trials, and instruction that utilizes group discussion and evidence circles. Connections with national science organizations such as NASA and Berkeley Hall of Science keep our schools on the leading edge of best practices.
