Queen Creek Unified School District Parents Attend Raising a Reader Workshop

Parents in the district attended the first of four workshops of the Parent Institute's Raising a Reader program. The workshop went over strategies to support parents and caregivers of children birth to age five to help engage their children in early reading.

"We are looking forward to creating a reading environment," said Andrew McClung, whom he and his wife attended the class to learn how to incorporate reading into their children's lives.

If you have an interest in attending the next Raising a Reader workshop, please sign up on the Raising a Reader page.
