QCUSD Announces New Principal for Eastmark High School

The Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD) Governing Board and Superintendent Dr. Perry Berry have announced a new principal for Eastmark High School. Jay Schnittger, former assistant principal at Queen Creek High School, is assuming the role of principal at the district's high school in East Mesa.

Schnittger began his career fifteen years ago as a social studies teacher. He has also coached football, served as an athletic director, and as an administrator.

"I am excited and honored to begin serving as your principal at Eastmark High School" Schnittger told the students and families of Eastmark in a letter this week. "It is my responsibility to support, encourage, and motivate staff and students as we look to pursue excellence in all that we do."

Schnittger moved into his new role immediately after board approval and is preparing for next week's start of the 2023–24 school year.
