From cheering on the sidelines to planning schoolwide events, Crismon High School students are taking the lead in shaping a positive and connected campus community. Student leaders play a key role in bringing classmates together, ensuring every student feels welcomed, supported, and proud to be a Rattler.
Freshman Fleur V. is actively involved in student council recruitment and the pom team. For her, being a Rattler means being part of a welcoming environment where students and staff genuinely care about one another. “I love the community and how everybody treats each other around campus,” she said. Fleur shared that students always have trusted adults and friends to turn to, whether they need academic support or someone to talk to. “Everybody is very nice to talk to, and the community is very loving around here.”
School traditions also play a big role in bringing students together. Fleur highlighted the homecoming parade as a favorite memory, noting how it showcased all grade levels and sports while creating a fun, inviting atmosphere.
Isabella B., freshman class vice president and cheerleader, echoed those sentiments. “It’s a good school. It’s a good community,” she said. Isabella takes pride in representing Crismon through both cheer and student council and appreciates how connected the campus feels. “Teachers help you when you need it. There’s students that help you when you need it. Just everyone is always encouraging here.”
Through student council, Isabella has grown significantly as a leader. Once hesitant to speak in front of others, she now feels confident communicating and connecting with people across campus. Both students agree that Crismon High School offers a supportive, friendly environment where it is easy to make friends, grow as a leader, and find a place to belong.
