QCUSD is proud to offer free summer school to all currently-registered 9th through 12th-grade students. If you're interested, please reach out to either Eastmark High School Counselor Holly Dahle or Queen Creek High School Counselor Rachel Riebold for more information. Summer school session runs from June 1, 2020, to July 10, 2020. You must complete all coursework by July 10, 2020, to receive credit.

AVID Summer Bridge is a program designed to strengthen students' math and science skills over the summer gap to prepare them for their future grade level.
This free program is for current 6th, 7th & 8th graders who are currently passing all of their classes. Students can choose from three digital modules in math and science.

AVID Summer Bridge Options
- Tribal Survival: Math for 7th Grade
6th graders to 7th graders will be organized into tribes and challenged with Math concepts. Teams will compete utilizing critical thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving skills within a positive; fun learning environment to help boost their math confidence. - Adventures in Algebra
The Adventures in Algebra module strengthens 7th and 8th grade students' understanding of fundamental math and algebraic concepts to provide a solid foundation for success in Algebra 1 while working in small groups in a competitive and fun atmosphere. - Mission Possible Science
7th and 8th grade students will engage in hands-on science activities to develop critical thinking and scientific skills while tracking a dangerous scientist around the world as he attempts to release a deadly microorganism.
