Excellence in advanced placement coursework is on full display across Queen Creek Unified School District (QCUSD), with 116 students earning the highest possible score of five on at least one AP exam during the 2025–2026 school year.
This outstanding achievement reflects the dedication, perseverance, and academic ambition of students across QCUSD’s three comprehensive high schools. Together, the schools offer more than 25 advanced placement courses, giving students a wide range of opportunities to challenge themselves with college-level coursework while still in high school. With courses like microeconomics, calculus, and statistics, as well as European history, psychology, and Two-D art & design, students have many opportunities to challenge themselves across their education and interests.
An AP exam score of five represents exceptional performance and is a significant accomplishment for any student. Across QCUSD, these students demonstrated their ability to master rigorous material, think critically, apply their knowledge, and perform at a high level on nationally administered examinations.
The achievement also speaks to the commitment of QCUSD educators who guide students through demanding AP coursework throughout the school year. AP classes require students to engage deeply with content, develop analytical and problem-solving skills, and prepare for comprehensive exams that measure their understanding of college-level material.
