Certified Substitute
Substitute Teacher Qualifications:
- Valid Arizona Teaching Certificate or Substitute Teaching Certificate
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Three References (one must be a current or former supervisor)
Compensation:
- Daily: $145 full day and $72.50 half day
- Long-term: $165 (beginning on the 21st consecutive day)
Classified Substitute
Substitute Instructional Assistant, Special Education/Preschool:
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Three References (one must be a current or former supervisor)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Compensation:
- Daily: $112 full day and $56 half day
Substitute Nurse/Health Office Assistant:
- AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- A minimum of one of the following: Emergency Medical Technician Level 1 course with a passing grade; or Medical Assistant course with passing grade; or three-credit hour college course in First Aide with passing grade
- Three References (one must be a current or former supervisor)
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
Compensation:
- Daily: $112 full day and $56 half day
- Registered Nurse Daily: $145 full day and $72.50 half day
