Queen Creek Unified School District kicked off its 2021–2022 new teacher orientation with over 170 new teachers in attendance.

The new teachers received welcoming introductions from board members and administrators and attended various training sessions to help prepare them for the new school year.

The three-day orientation began on July 13 with the first day of events at the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. Days two and three were at three different locations: Newell Barney Junior High, Eastmark High School, and the district office.

Prior to the first day of school, each school had a meet the teacher night where parents, guardians, and students learned more about their child's school. The 2021–2022 school year officially started on July 21.
