Course Syllabus 2008-2009 Course Name: Earth Science Teacher: Stephanie Holubowsky Contact Information: Room B102 Prep hour: 2nd Email: sholubowsky@qcusd.org Phone: (480)987-5973 Textbook: Earth Science, Prentice Hall, 2009 Materials: You will be required to have a 1” three-ring notebook consisting of section dividers (please use sheet protectors) with computer generated headings, blue or black pens (only), pencils, and lined notebook paper (not spiral). Course Description: This yearlong course introduces students to the structures and functions of Earth. We will be learning about the formation of the Earth and how our natural resources get restored. Laboratory activities are an important part of the class. Basic study skills, including use of the computer will be emphasized and practiced in this class.
