refinement of the six traits of writing through the preparation of expressive,
expository, functional, persuasive, literary analysis, and research
documents. In addition, there will be a
focus on the novel, short stories and poetry with emphasis on the critical
analysis of the genres and characteristics of tim

placed on oral assignments and communication.
This class includes regular homework assignments, a concentration of
vocabulary, as well as outside reading and research projects.
