This course will give students an in-depth look at career opportunities in law enforcement and the legal system. Students will also learn what they can do now, while they are still young, to be an attractive candidate for future employment in the field. The course is designed to prepare students for entry-level employment in law enforcement occupations. The student will examine the criminal justice system through the study of laws and evidence, techniques of investigation, report writing and courtroom procedures. Written skills, oral communication skills, positive attitude and presentation skills will be emphasized.
