Mrs. Landon, Music Teacher

Things we will begin learning about in the

Music Room this Quarter:

Classroom procedures, different voices (whispering, singing, speaking), proper singing, tapping to the beat, movement and games, playing instruments, reading music, listening to a variety of styles of music, music history, composers, creating music, composing music and

feelings associated with music.

Of course, we incorporate many academic skills (reading, writing, mathematics, geography, history, etc.) in class as well as character issues (attentive listening, respect, responsibility etc.).
