This is my ninth year of teaching here at Queen Creek Elementary and working for the Queen Creek School District. I have taught second, second/third combo, third, and third/fourth combo, as well as fifth grade over the course of those nine years. I received my Master’s Degree from NAU in Reading Education. I am currently enrolled in courses at Arizona State University in the pursuit of a doctoral program in Gifted Education. My wife and I have lived here in Queen Creek for over eleven years now and we have three wonderful children between the ages of ten and four years. Our son is a fifth grader at the new Intermediate 5/6 school, our daughter is a third grader here at QCE, and our youngest son is a preschooler here at QCE in the Little Coyotes program as well. My wife and I have been happily married for over twelve years now and are both teachers at QCE. When I am not teaching, my hobbies include woodworking, gardening, cooking, fishing, reading, and hunting. My family and I enjoy spending time with each other and other family members and love traveling to new (and old) places together. We are looking forward to welcoming 2 new members into our family this fall. We have a nephew that is due in September, and a niece that will be due in October! |
