Press Release Submissions
QCUSD encourages faculty, staff
and students to submit story ideas they feel may be of interest to others.
When you submit an idea, think of the 5 W's: Who, What, When, Where, Why.
Answer these 5 W's and you provide us with a good start in developing the
background and story pitches for our local media.
Also, what makes your story unique or newsworthy? Is there any visual
excitement to the story? Provide us with as much detail as possible and make
sure to include a contact phone number and/or email where we can follow up
should we have questions prior to releasing the information to the media.
Please submit items to be publicized a minimum of two weeks prior to desired
publication date. Please be as specific and as complete as possible when
