Mission Statement

The Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation partners with the community to promote excellence in education and encourages responsible citizenship by financially supporting growth and learning  opportunities for teachers and students within the Queen Creek School District.


2012 Scholarship Awards Ceremony

The Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation will participate in Queen Creek High School's 2012 Scholarship Awards Ceremony on Monday, May 14 at 8:30 a.m. in the Queen Creek Performing Arts Center. The recipients of the 2012 Nathan Martens and Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation will be announced.

Nathan Martens was a Queen Creek High School graduate and was killed in the line of duty. This is our way of remembering him and our way of saying, "Thank You!" to him and his family for their sacrifice for our country.

QCSEF Teacher Grant Application

The Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation teacher grant application for Fall 2012 is now available. The applications are due on Friday June 8, 2012, via email to Tom Lindsey.

There will be three $300 grants selected that will be announced on July 20, 2012, at the Welcome Back Meeting at the QCHS Peforming Arts Center.


Golf Outing

Golf OutingQueen Creek Schools Education Foundation enjoyed another successful golf outing. The once-a-year event was held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Las Colinas Golf Course in Queen Creek.

There was a record number of 78 players that participated in the event this year and a record number of 16 sponsors for the event. Twenty-seven QCUSD employees, students, and parents participated in the golf outing which was also a new record.

The event included a round of golf, lunch, a raffle, and silent auction. The QCSEF members would like to thank everyone who participated and helped make the event a huge success.

This is the sole fundraiser for the foundation, and the funds are used to sponsor college scholarships for QCHS students and to help teachers purchase needed supplies for the classrooms. The foundation looks forward to the golf outing in 2012.

The 2011 scholarship and Teacher Grant recipients were:

  • Adam Brzeczek: Nathan Martens Scholarship - $3,000 - Stanford University,
  • Paige Linne: QCSEF Scholarship - $3,000 - Texas A&M University,
  • Joanna Hilao: QCSEF Scholarship - $1,500 - Mesa Community College,
  • Luis Gonzalez: QCSEF Scholarship - $1,500 - Brigham Young University,
  • Diana Friday - QCMS,
  • Mereith Alaniz - QCMS, and
  • Nicole Vogt, Tabatha Dase, Nicole Fredman, Josh Mattis – QCMS.
