The Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation partners with the community to promote excellence in education and encourages responsible citizenship by financially supporting growth and learning opportunities for teachers and students within the Queen Creek School District.
Queen Creek Schools Education Foundation enjoyed another successful golf outing. The once-a-year event was held on Saturday, October 1, 2011 at the Las Colinas Golf Course in Queen Creek.
There was a record number of 78 players that participated in the event this year and a record number of 16 sponsors for the event. Twenty-seven QCUSD employees, students, and parents participated in the golf outing which was also a new record.
The event included a round of golf, lunch, a raffle, and silent auction. The QCSEF members would like to thank everyone who participated and helped make the event a huge success.
This is the sole fundraiser for the foundation, and the funds are used to sponsor college scholarships for QCHS students and to help teachers purchase needed supplies for the classrooms. The foundation looks forward to the golf outing in 2012.
