Transportation

645,000 miles. That’s the number of miles we traveled in the 2010-2011 school year. From 5:00 a.m. when the crew fires up the buses to begin the daily routes, until the last bus rolls into the yard at 6:00 p.m., our transportation department is on duty. Very often we also work weekends, driving kids to athletic events and special trips.

We have a fleet of 71 buses that serve our seven schools in a district of 44 square miles. We provide daily transportation to all eligible students of the district, including those with special needs. We currently service all seven district schools, as well as several out-of-district schools, for our students with special needs. Our staff of 60 employees is among the most well trained, dedicated transportation employees in the state of Arizona.

The transportation department is located at 20820 S. Ellsworth Road, Queen Creek, Arizona. Our fax number is (480) 987-7494.

Helpful Transportation Tips
  • Have your student at his or her designated bus stop five minutes prior to the scheduled stop.
  • Have your child stay at least 20 feet away from the pick up area until the bus comes to a complete stop and the driver motions for him/her to board.
  • Please instruct your child to stay in his/her seat while the bus is in motion.
  • If you meet your child at the bus stop at the end of the day, please be on time.
