Migrant Family

Here at Queen Creek Unified, we know that having a strong family unit is the number one predictor of student success. That’s why we’ve created a Family Resource Center for the families in our area and district. We are here as a resource for employment, health care, WIC programs, immigration issues, and family safety issues. If you need our assistance or know of a family who might benefit from our services, please don’t hesitate to contact us. It is our pleasure to serve you and the children in our community.

The Queen Creek Family Resource Center works with Non-Profit Organizations only. We are open daily from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and are closed weekends and holidays.

Eligibility

Generally any child from pre-school through twelfth grade not over 22 years old is eligible for the Migrant Program. Mobility of the parents alone does not constitute a child’s eligibility. In order to qualify as a migrant child, the child must move with a parent, guardian or immediate family member seeking seasonal employment or the child must join the family or move on his/her own also seeking seasonal employment.
