Charging Policy and Meal Accounts/PaymentsAccounts are set up with the cafeteria manager at your school. You can put money on the account using cash, personal check or money order. Accounts can also be set up on online at www.EZSchoolPay.com using Visa/MasterCard. The account is set up using the child's student ID number. This is an individual account so it cannot be used by another student. Please refer to the charge policy link for monthly breakdowns of charges to help budget for your child’s meals. Queen Creek does not allow any meal charges. If your child forgets their lunch money they will be given an alternate meal of a cheese sandwich on a whole wheat bun, fruit and milk. |

The district's food and nutrition department takes seriously its obligation to fortify children with nutritious foods as well as nutrition literacy so youngsters have every opportunity to develop to the fullest extent of their capabilities. The Food Service Department is proud to serve as an important resource for the students, staff, and community. The department's mission is to provide nutritious meals at minimum cost. Every school in the district participates in the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs. Meals are planned to be nutritious and "kidfriendly". Pizza is made from skim mozzarella cheese and the chicken nuggets are baked. Fruits and vegetables offered daily along with low-fat milk and dairy products. The National School Lunch and Breakfast programs are overseen by the US Department of Agriculture and require that meals served meet the Dietary Guidelines for Americans. Lunch must provide 1/3 of the RDA for calories, protein, calcium, iron, Vitamin A, and Vitamin C. Breakfast must provide 1/4 of the RDA of these nutrients.
