Board Members present : Kris Wells, Principal Bill Schultz, Seneca Johnson, Kristen Dawson, Sheryl Grothe, Sharon Erwin, Patty Campbell, and Michelle Hunt
Agenda:

Meeting:
1. Current balance: $7,130.48.
2. Changing of meeting times were discussed at great length. Resolved: Executive board meetings will move to the second Wed. of each month at 9a.m. and general PTO meetings will be held the second Tues. of each month at 6p.m.
3. Craig Seymore was one vital element of success for the Coyote Fest. With this is mind all board members would like to purchase a gift card to his favorite Restaurant. The dollar amount and vote will be determined in the general meeting. Other families that are still due for “Thank you” cards are the Chavez and Nelson Families. Those will be sent out soon.
4. Kristen reported an awesome $400 was earned from the Barros Pizza fundraising night! Mrs. Jack's class won the contest for the most participation on Spirit Night. They have earned themselves a pizza party. The school cafeteria manager will need to be notified approximately two weeks in advance as to when the party will be (so she may adjust her food order for that day).
We have another Box Tops deadline in March. Kristen thought maybe we could do a competition between the other Queen Creek elementary schools for the next contest.
5. This year Santa pictures will cost students $3.00. The special day will be Thursday, Dec. 14 th from 9-1:30 (approx.).
6. For special recognition, Kris Proposed that the board present Mr. Gamboa with a gift card to somewhere of interest to him such as a restaurant. This item will be voted on in the general meeting.
7. Sharon and Patty prepared a Sponsor letter and form for the Spring Walk-a-Thon. The letter was reviewed by members and agreed that the letters will need to go out as soon as we are able after the holiday break. The form will definitely have an area for the sponsor to put their contact information and a choice of participation levels. The various levels require different funding commitments. PTO will also request that teachers participate in some manner. Many volunteers are needed to make this a success. A list of businesses in the area needs to be acquired so that we can go out in teams to request their participation of choice in our walk a thon. Teams will be made of those who are comfortable going out to the local businesses and requesting their participation.
8. Parents have expressed interest in having more after school activities. The school does have some clubs after school. Many may not be advertised to all grade levels. Some clubs that we have now are Spanish, Lego , AR , and Rugby . Anyone can request a complete list from Barbara in the front office if they are interested in any clubs or if we have any interests to add more.

Meeting:
1. A vote of $50 for a gift card to El Charro for Craig Seymore was approved.
A vote of $50 for a gift card for Mr. Gamboa was approved.
2. Mrs. Jack was approved with a cap of $280 for various teaching tools. The items are from her condensed list that was made earlier in the year.
