Meeting :
1. Are board members required to attend every function and who is responsible for getting members and volunteers scheduled? Resolved : Members are not required to attend every function. Patty Marie will be the volunteer lead coordinator for contacting volunteers for future events. She will need other leaders to inform her of how many people they will need to cover an event.
2. Jody presented the Enterprise program for DME . It is a subscription program that gives students unlimited access to 100,000 quizzes for the AR program. This program would cost approximately $993.06 (full year is $1,800 plus tax). This item will be voted on in the General meeting.

4. Sheryl had a very successful Fall Book Fair. She surpassed her goal and set a new record of $11,732.74 in total sales! The library will receive approximately $3,800 worth of books.
5. Patty Marie reported a great Spirit Night at Chick Fil A. For that event PTO will receive $225.00. The chik fil a wheel brought in $136.25 during Grandparent's Day and Family Fun Night. The $136.25 is set aside for the 5 th grade field trip. Patty will see if we can schedule another Spirit Night in early to mid November.
6. Kris requested a $50 gift card to Tia Rosa's for Lori Call. This would be our appreciation gift for her hard work on the Grandparent's Day photo background. All voted unanimously. Thanks Lori!!!
7. Sharon Erwin will be changing the teacher dinner menu to BBQ sandwiches, salads and drinks. She will set up at 4p.m. and clean up around 7p.m. Patty and Michelle will be in at 4p.m. for set up.
8. Friday, Nov. 3, 2006 there will be a cotton candy making party at Sheryl Grothe's home. Kris Wells will rent the cotton candy machine.
Currently we have 13 booths for the teachers participating in the Coyote Festival. Some booths are a combined grade level; therefore we may utilize the teachers for volunteers in other needed areas.
Presale wristbands ($6) and tickets (5 for $1) will go on sale before and after school the week of 10/30/06 . At the door, wristbands will be $8 and tickets will be 4 for $1.00.
Quincy will send out a flyer with this information and arrange the advertisement of the festival using the school sign out front.
Board members will have a short meeting on Monday, October 23, 2006 at 3:45 p.m. regarding Coyote Fest.
9. Kristen is cutting, cutting, cutting soup labels/box tops. We currently have 23,040 points that we may use in the Campbell 's catalog. Kristen's Box Top deadline is Oct. 31, 2006 . She is expecting approximately $400 from box tops. She is also expecting approximately $100 from Safeway for the escrip program.

A question regarding the status of the 5 th grade's Little Caesar fundraiser was presented by a parent. We will have to check with Ms. Dase for the exact figure.
4. Mary has not received any calls within the community regarding animals suitable for a petting zoo. Therefore the petting zoo idea for Coyote Fest will be abandoned.

6. Ms. Albright presented and requested Childcraft early read along book sets (utilized in their listening centers) for all of Kindergarten to share. The 6 new sets with the “big book” were approved with a cap of $400.00.
7. Kris will be working with Mrs. Shurtz and the Student Council to run a Santa's workshop. They are in the process of finding a company with both quality products and best profit for our school. Proceeds will go to both the student council and the PTO.
8. Mr. Schultz announced that the Little Coyotes Program has a new home next year. The dedicated addition at Queen Creek Elementary will have 10 new classrooms!
