Education Foundation Scholarships

General Scholarship

The general scholarship is awarded based on financial need, community involvement, service, leadership, character, and academic achievement. There will be ten scholarships awarded worth $3,000 each. The application deadline is April 3, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at the high school guidance office.

    Nathan Martens Memorial Scholarship

    This scholarship was established to honor Nathan Martens, a graduate of Queen Creek High School, an athlete while in school, and a US Navy Corpsman who gave his life for his country in Iraq in 2005. The scholarship is awarded based on athletics, community involvement, service, leadership, character, and academic achievement. The amount of the scholarship is $4000. The application deadline is April 3, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at the high school guidance office.

    Linda Carr Memorial Scholarship

    Mrs. Carr was a beloved teacher, principal, and administrator for the Queen Creek Unified School District from 1997 through her retirement at the end of the 2012-2013 school year. Following her passing on May 30, 2014, this $1,000 scholarship ensures her legacy of excellence and caring, and it affords the opportunity for a young person in the district to continue on with his/her education at an institution of higher learning. The application deadline is April 3, 2017, at 3:00 p.m. at the high school guidance office.
