ATTENDANCE:

Regular attendance is essential to success in school. A student not only misses work on the day of absence, but also is not prepared for the next day because of missed instruction. Tardiness is disruptive to the learning process.

A written note or call to the attendance line explaining the absence or lateness must account for every absence or tardiness. Your call to us will save time and help protect your child. It is vital that we have one or more telephone numbers to contact you during the school day. If your numbers change please come in and fill out a change form.

A student who arrives late must report to the office to obtain a late pass which is then given to the teacher. This allows the office to correct the attendance report.

KINDERGARTEN REGISTRATION:

REGISTRATION CONTINUES FOR THE 2009-2010 SCHOOL YEAR. THIS ALLOWS FOR US TO PLAN FOR CLASS SIZES FOR THE UPCOMING SCHOOL YEAR. The office will be open Monday - Thursday until June 16th. Summer office hours are: 8:00a.m. - 4:00p.m.

We are offering full day kindergarten. Call the office for more information.

REGISTRATION:

If you need to register a new student please come in and fill out the registration packet along with the following items:

· State Certified Birth Certificate

· Current Immunization Record

· Proof of Residency (utility bill: Electric, gas or water , lease agreement or purchase contract)

· Photo Id of Parent

*OPEN ENROLLMENT REMINDER: Open enrollment for 2009-2010 school years begins January 26, 2009. All boundary exceptions must be renewed every year. Forms may be picked up in the attendance office.
